Danush, Tamanna pairup!!

The young 18 year old is fast becomming the hot actress in Bollywood. After signing up Ayan opposite Surya, Tamanna has now signed for the movie Padikathavan with Danush. The actess with a sweet innocent looks who looks equally hot in the photos of Ayan is on the fast lane to becomming one of the sought after actress in both Tamil and Telugu.

The legal heirs of N.Veerasami of Easwri Productions the producer of Rajnikanth’s Padikathavan (1985) have agreed to part with the title and now Danush and Tamanna will be seen in the movie. The movie will be directed by Suraj for producers Vijaya Productions. Music is by Mani Sharma.

The crew of Padikathavan had been on a lookout for a fresh face, with bubbly character and had considered Genelia, but finally zeroed in on Tamanna. Tamanna for the first time will portray a role which will have shades of humor and is all excited about her role. The shooting of the movie is expected to start in the first week of April.

Basket full of offers for Tamannaah

Its raining basket full of offers for Tamannaah Bhatia, the latest one being Oru Koodai Muththam, 100 rubaai. After a well appreciated role in Kollywood with Kaloori, Tamannaah is seen signing a lot of Tamil movies.

She will be Surya’s love intrest in Ayan and Danush’s lady love in Padikathavan. She will also be seen in Ananda Tandavam with Siddharth. Now there will be three heroes in the lead for Tamannaah in Oru Koodai Mutham 100 rupaai.

The film Oru Koodai Mutham 100 Roobai is said to be a complete laugh riot with a tinge of glamour and is directed by director Thambi Ramaiyyah. This will be the director’s next movie after Indralogathil Na Azhagappan. The movie will start rolling in August.

Another actress has gone the numerology way. Tamanna will now be known as Tamannaah and looks like the name change is working for the young beauty. Tamannaah has been singed in sucession for two movies with big heros Surya and Danush. She will be seen with Surya in Ayan and Padikathavan with Danush.

Tamannaah made her Tamil debut in film Kedi which did not do well at the box office. She then went on to do a couple of movies in Telugu that did well. Her next movie Kaloori won her appreciation for her acting. She then became hot property in Kollywood.

Anandha Thandavam, Oscar Films’ next venture, is directed by Gandhikrishna. Director Gandhi Krishna’s last film was Chellame. This film introduced Vishal as hero and it also had Bharath playing the villain role. Reema Sen acted the heroine. The ‘Anandha Thandavam’ movie has debutant Siddharth and Tamanna in the lead roles. The team of Anandha Thandavam is now all set to go to the United States after completing the portions in India. G V Prakash Kumar scores music for the movie. 60 percent of the film’s shoot is over. The team had shot at picturesque locales of Tirunelveli, Papanasam and Ooty. A float house was constructed at a cost of 40 lakhs by art director Thotta Tharani and is bound to be talked about after the film’s release, say unit sources. Tamanna’s latest relase of Balaji Sakthivel’s ‘Kallori’, in which she plays the female lead.

Director Shankar has launched his own audio company â€˜S.Musicâ€™. S Musicâ€™s first venture is Kaloori, by Balaji Sakthivel who is trying to recreate the success of â€˜Kaadhalâ€™. The audio of Kalloori was released by Maniratnam and the first copy was received by A.R.Rahman.

Parthiban was the anchor for the show. The lead pair of Kaloori movie Akil and Tamanna, along with the music director Joshua Sridhar were present in the function.

Director Balaji Sakthivel says it is more difficult to sustain success than to taste success itself. The success of â€˜Kaadhalâ€™ has given great expectations from a film by him, so he is carefully chiseling every aspect of his new film â€˜Kalloori.â€™

Tamanna is the heroine. Most others are expected to be newcomers. Newcomer Akhil is the hero. Stills of college books and lunch boxes are being used for publicity. Not even a single still with an actor or actress has been released till now.

A major part of the success of â€˜Kaadhalâ€™ went to all those who did small character roles too. The same holds good in â€˜Kallooriâ€™ too. Apart from the hero and heroine, others who would create a stir include newcomers Hema, Balamurugan, Rajeswari, Maya Reddy, Arun Kumar, Sailatha and Prakash.

The cinematographer is also a newcomer. Chezhian is popular in literary circles. He is knowledgeable about world cinema.

We believe they would make â€˜Kallooriâ€™ a world class film!

Surya, Tamanna together for K.V Anand

The search of the heroine was on and Shriya Saran was approched for the role, but she refused the role due to call sheet problems. Tammanna is on top of the world, for signing a movie with Surya under the direction of KV.Anand. Her recent release in Telugu Happy Days has turned out to be a blockbuster. Tamanna’s role in Kalloori is also expected to become a hit with the audience.

The producers M.Saravanan, M.S.Guhan, Aruna Guhan and Aparna Guhan have announced an October 27th, 2008 Deepavali release for this yet to be titled movie.
